EACA has improved all its memberships offers, from FREE to PRO leaving the fees untouched.
Free members have now access also to IFAC 2013 stuff (videos and presentations) and not only 2013.
Premium members have now access also to IFAC 2019 stuff, while all Pro members have access to IFAC 2020.
Plus, additional videos have been added to IFAC 2014 gallery.
We absolutely want to give as much as possibile to our members and while we’re slowing increasing the stuff available on our website, we know it’s not enough yet.
EACA is planning to add more and more content from here to the end of the year so we hope you’ll be satisfied.
After the successful initiative in Belgrade, the Global Athletics Coaching Academy is now heading to Eugene for the Oregon22 Coaches’ Club.
The Club house in Eugene will be in the Frohmayer Music Building at the University of Oregon (OU) 961, East 18th Avenue.
If you can’t be in Eugene, don’t worry: the Coaches Club will also be streamed on Zoom: visit regularly the official page of the Oregon22 Coaches’ Club on GACA website to register and stay posted!
Next February will see two new EACA web series coming out! Jimson Lee will host the ‘Split Second’ series, dedicated to a technical insight on sprints, hurdles and relays.
Instead, EACA president Frank Dick will host a series with the title ‘Coach to Coach’, with the focus on how great coaches become great.
Two big italian names for the first episodes of both series
Frank Dick’s guest will be absolutely stunning: Antonio La Torre, Team Italy Head Coach! The architect behind the unpredictable five gold medals for Italy is born in Manfredonia (Puglia) but he moved to Milan with the family when he was 9 years old. He got the Physical Education diploma in 1983 in Milan, while he was also working as technical designer for a big metallurgical company. 10 years later he graduated in Science and techniques of physical activities in Dijon (France). He coached several Race Walk athletes, including the 1999 World Champion and 2004 Olympic Champion Ivano Brugnetti.
Jimson Lee will host Marco Airale, coach to Darryl Neita, Ama Pipi and Jimmy Vicaut. Marco is a 32 years old italian coach from Chivasso (Turin), also graduated in physiotherapy with a master in osteopathy. He started coaching in Italy, with successful results (18 medals with 7 titles at various National Championships from 2015 to 2019). He also worked as therapist on the Juventus FC team for 3 years. In 2019 he became Performance Therapist of the Chinese National Team and he then worked as assistant coach to Randy Huntington and Rana Reider until the last Olympic Games. After Tokyo, he founded his own training group which is currently based on Padova (Italy).
Episode 1 of the ‘Coach to Coach’ Series will be out next February 1st, while the opening of ‘Split Second’ Series is scheduled for February 11th.
The 2021 season is over but we’re sure you all still have in your eyes all the stunning performance of this year’s summer.
To celebrate them, here at EACA we worked hard to make our members happy now it’s time to unroll a number of exciting news.
First, we cutted the price of the Pro membership from € 100,00 to € 60,00 per year. Consequentially, we decided to withdraw the monthly subscription for both the Premium and Pro membership. This is because the yearly subscriptions’ prices are now both very affordable so there is no reason to offer monthly subscriptions.
But, hey: if you are a Premium or Pro member already and you don’t want to upgrade to a yearly subscription don’t worry: existing monthly membership will be still active.
But that’s not all, no way.
The table below shows the announcements for each membership level.
We tried to make everybody happy, adding content and opportunities to all the members of any level.
So, we really hope that you will enjoy all these new things at EACA because something very big is coming next week: the 2021 International Festival of Athletics Coaching programme!
Stay tuned!
PS: Dr. Frans Bosch asked us to remove his presentation from IFAC 2012 but, don’t worry: we will replace it soon with another presentation from IFAC 2012!

The brand new EACA series “Mindful Coaching” aims to cover the world of coaching at 360° by interviewing coaches with different skills and experiences, also coming from other sports or other areas.
In the Episode 2 of of its first season, Jimson Lee hosts two European coahces: Laurent Meuwly and Paolo Camossi. At the recent European Indoor Championships they achieved great results, reaching the top in the 60 meters event, where Ajla Del Ponte and Marcell Jacobs won the gold medal for Switzerland and Italy, respectively.
In perfect harmony with the spirit of the “Mindful Coaching” Series, Jimson especially tries to spotlight their approach to coaching rather than talk about which technical exercises they adopt during the training sessions.
Starting from this episode, the series will be accessible for the EACA members only, no matter if Free, Premium or Pro members, so if you are not registered already, choose your membership level and sign up!
Let me reminds you that, in order to celebrate our President’s 80th birthday, for the whole current month of May the yearly Pro Membership is 50% discounted FOR LIFE, meaning that those who will become a yearly Pro member this month will pay half the price every year, not only at the sign up but forever. To get the 50% discount apply the code FRANK80 during the sign up process.
As always, we hope that you’ll really enjoy this new content. But we are only at the beginning: lots of ideas in our mind will be effective soon!
European Athletics is providing a special online event related to its High Performance Series next month: the High Performance Online Week.
The event is “a series of two webinars a day during the 7 until the 11 June 2021, gathering famous athletes, coaches and scientists, to deliver to you the most up-to-date knowledge and experience on high performance in athletics”.
With a view to offering more and more services to member coaches, the European Athletics Coaches Association today inaugurates a series created with the collaboration of Jimson Lee, the creator of the SpeedEndurance.com website. Neither Jimson nor his website needs any introduction and the EACA is proud to have him on board: it will be a key element in the development of the Association.

The first episode of the first season sees the EACA President Frank Dick OBE as guest, right after his 80th birthday. This episode’s title will be “Five decades of coaching” but, obviously, it’s impossibile to cover five decades in one hour only so we are planning to see Frank as guest in some other episode.
The series will be weekly or bi-weekly and it begins with an episode available for everyone, even non-EACA members. However, starting from the next episode, the series will be accessible for the EACA members only, no matter if Free, Premium or Pro members.
At this regards, let me reminds you that, in order to celebrate our President’s 80th birthday, for the whole current month of May the yearly Pro Membership is 50% discounted FOR LIFE, meaning that those who will become a yearly Pro member this month will pay half the price every year, not only at the sign up.
